A day at the Park

Craig is still on vacation so we headed over to the park with Craig's Mom. The girls had so much fun and I got some great photos. Sorry for the poor quality, The settings were off on my camera and I'm not in the mood to re-edit them right now :) If you click on them they open up bigger and look a little better.

Yumm, Cupcakes!

Aubrey and I made "cupcakes" (actually fiber 1 muffins but to her they're cupcakes :)) today while Evvy napped. She loved being able to help me and even got to mix the batter. After they were all done and Evvy woke up, they had a tea party. I love seeing them play together! Unfotunatly my my camera battery died so I didn't get any pics of their tea party but here are some of Aubrey.

So much to do!

Well this will probably be our last post until after we return from our Colorado Vacation. I have been looking forward for this for so long and now that it's almost here I'm not ready, lol. We hit the road Wed. night and as long as the girls don't make us stop too often we should get to Co Springs Thurs. afternoon/night. I know, I'm probably asking for too much but that's the plan.



In the mean time I still am getting things packed for when (or if?) we move. Craig and I are going to look at a few places tomorrow, I'm really hoping we find a place before we leave. Jessi's shower is for the 6th of Feb. so that means Evvy's party is on the 30th! I still need to get invitations out for it but am trying to hold off in case we find a place tomorrow, if we don't it'll be here in Palmdale.



And then on top of everything else it looks like I'll have to do some painting too! I ran out to do some errands yesterday, leaving the girls with Craig and came home to Craig asleep on the couch and Aubrey trying out a new color on the walls! Apparently blackberries make a nice wall color!! Here she is helping me clean the wall-

Simple Days...

I love our boring, do nothing days! Today started early, a quick stop for coffee and then to Trader Joes. The nice cashier gave the girls each a balloon and it completely made their day. I love how simple little things can be the highlight of their day!! Once we got home the girls were in great moods and after a yummy lunch of "ronie and cheese" both of them were out. Evvy is SUCH a light sleeper so I can never get a pic of her sleeping but here is Aubrey asleep on our bed, still clutching to her balloon :D

Happy New Year!!

Craig has to work tomorrow and we don't have a sitter so we aren't going anywhere. In fact, we probably won't even stay up till midnight! Man I feel lame just righting that but after the morning I've had with the girls, I don't think I could stay up even if I wanted to. Anyway I just wanted wish everyone a happy new year! Have fun and remember to stay safe.

Christmas Evening!

After Christmas morning we headed down to Grandma Rose's for Christmas dinner with Craig's Dad's family. Aubrey loved playing with Makenna and Evelyn was trying to show Kyle how to crawl when she wasn't practicing her walking. The kids had a gift exchange this year which was fun!

Christmas Morning!

We had a great Christmas morning at home with the girls. This was Evelyn's 1st Christmas and she loved it! Both the girls got sippies in their stockings and poor Evvy was so disappointed that her cup was empty :( I think they were a little overstimulated by all the gifts because after about 2 gifts both girls started fussing. Aubrey just wanted to watch Max and Ruby and Evvy was ready to nurse, but we made through all the gifts with only a few melt downs (mostly by Aubrey) and the girls got to play with all their new toys. It was so nice being able to share this Christmas with Craig's family!
