It takes wisdom to have a good family, and it takes understanding to make it strong." - Proverbs 24:3

Halloween Fun!

As a way for everyone to see Chris before he is deployed in Janurary, Laurie had a Halloween party at the house with a bunch of family and his friends. There was good food (all made by Laurie), a jolly jumper and a ton of pumpkins to carve! Here are some pictures, Enjoy!

Our second 2 year Anniversary

Today is one of our anniversaries, lol. We have 2 because we just can't agree when our "real" wedding was. Craig considers today our "real" anniversary because 2 years ago today we were married by a Christian Minister, while I consider August 3rd our "real" anniversary because that is when we were legally married. Since we can't agree we celebrate both! In August we make sure to do dinner and in October we do dinner and gifts. We've had so many changes that it just amazes me that it's only been two years, in those two years we've had 2 beautiful baby girls and moved more times than we would have liked but our love for each other is as strong as ever! We are so blessed to have each other in our lives.

Tea time!

I love seeing the girls play together, it seriously is the highlight of my day, but today was even better that usual. Today they had a tea party! Aubrey set it all up and even got some puffs for them to eat, how cute! She occasionally has her moments but overall she is a wonderful big sister and loves to include Evelyn. Here are a few photos: (Please excuse the fact that Aubrey's only in a pull-up, she's going through a naked phase so this is better than the alternative, lol)

Grandma Rose's 70th Birthday!

We were in Solvang for the weekend for Craig's Grandmother's 70th Birthday party. We had so much fun visiting with his Aunts,Uncles and Cousins, and meeting new babies! Craig's Aunt Jacki had a little boy named Kyle in March and his Cousin Kory had another little girl on Sept. 18th. Here are some photo's of the party:

Evvybug stood by herself.

Oh no, it looks like she'll be walking soon! Evelyn was playing with the doll house and she let go and stood all by herself! And for quite some time! Craig was able to come get me so I could see her too before she sat down. I knew this day was coming since she's been letting go of things while standing for a while now but this is the first time she has been able to keep her balance and stand unsupported. I can't believe how fast she has grown, where did these last 8 months go? I wasn't able to get a picture of her actually standing but here is one of her playing with the doll house:

Evelyn has a tooth!

Our little Evvybug offically cut her first tooth! It's only taken about 4 months of teething but it's finally broke through and she has another one on the way. I'm going to miss her toothless grin but am looking forward to seeing how her smile changes now that there will be teeth in there.

Evelyns first real food.

Evelyn has had an occasional taste of food; a french fry stolen off Craig's plate, a sip of milk out of Aubrey's sippy cup, but never anything that she was suppose to have, until today. Today she got her first taste of real food. We went with green beans because that was Aubrey's first food and she loved it, but Evelyn, not so much. I'm sure you'll get a laugh from the faces she made:
