We went in for another visit, the baby was measuring right on track and her heart beat is strong. Aubrey loves to hear the heart beat, she get real quiet and stares and my belly, it's adorable! We asked Kathy about doing another ultrasound to check up on my cervix and she said we should, so I'll go back in in 3 weeks, the 17th, and hopefully everything has stayed the same. If not then I will most likely be put on bedrest :{ We need to make it to at least 30 weeks, if not further!

Names, Names, Names...

Craig and I have had a heck of a time agreeing on a name for our little girl, I think I've gone through 4 or 5 baby name books, plus searched online and have only now narrowed it down to two names! Before we even found out we were pregnant, we knew the middle name would be Faye, after my Grandmother, since Aubrey's middle name is Rose after Craig's Grandmother, but I never thought the first name would be so hard! Before we found out it was a girl we were calling her Obidiah, Ambrose and Jonah hoping that if we thought it was a boy it would be a boy (I know it doesn't work that way, but Craig only wants 2 kids and I wanted my little boy, lol) And then add our last name to the mix and it made it SO hard. A lot of names we liked didn't go with it, like Morgan, which I LOVED but didn't like the way it sounded with Morton.

So our two names are Abernathy Faye or Reagan Faye. Craig fell in love with Abernathy when he watched Death Proof and I think Abby would be cute but I also like Reagan. We have decided to wait until we actually see her before we settle on a name but she will have one of these names :) I am so happy to be close to naming her!

We've Moved!

We have moved from our little place in Oak View to Palmdale with Craig's parents to save up some money for the Dr. and hospital bills, and possibly money for a down payment on a house. Craig is still working in Piru, so he'll be commuting and we're still be visiting Ventura a lot.

It's a....

...Girl!! Thats right we're going to have another baby girl. When we got to the U/S office we we're very anxious to find out the sex but she didn't want to show us, She was in the breech postion(legs down, head up) so we weren't able to find out right away, but at the last minute she changed positions and showed us :)

Also when we were there Dr. Wingland discovered that my cervix is shorter than it should be and just told me to take it easy. But after researching it online some, I found out that it can be pretty serious and a lot of times requires complete bedrest to prevent preterm labor or miscarriage. We would greatly appreciate it if you could pray that there wouldn't be anymore complications and that I could carry this precious baby girl to term (40 weeks).

A New Blog for a New Baby!

After talking a lot about having another baby we have found out we're expecting! We found out on May 29, which is my Birthday, and are very, very excited to welcome a new little one to our family! Baby #2 is due to arrive February 1, 2009. I will be seeing Kathy Wingland, CNM again. She is the same Midwife that delivered Aubrey and we are extremely blessed to have found such an amazing Dr. I can't wait to add more updates about our new baby!!
