It takes wisdom to have a good family, and it takes understanding to make it strong." - Proverbs 24:3

Park Day

We took the girlies to Marina Park today. This park holds so many memories for me, as a kid, me and my sisters would come here with our parents and play on the zip line after church. Craig also spent a lot of time here too, as his Grandma lived right down the road. The girls had a blast and Aubrey even found a friend to play with! We didn't make it to the zip line but the girls loved the playground. Evelyn was even brave enough to walk over the bridge a few times :)

We had also brought along a picnic lunch, but unfortunantly our fun end early when Aubrey slipped in the sand.

Our weekend

Steve and Laurie were out of town this weekend so we were up there taking care of the dogs. The weather was great so we the majority of it outside playing. We had a water fight, which Aubrey of course loved! Though Evelyn wasn't too happy with it.

The next day we had a outdoor photo shoot with my new prop- a parasol!

Easter Sunday

Our Easter this year was very low key! Craig had to work so it was just me and the girls. We did baskets in the morning and then headed to church. Here are some pics of them with their baskets

A new addition to our family...

Actually TWO!!

No No No, not babies but fish! Today we took the girls to get a beta fish and because whatever Aubrey does or gets Evelyn HAS to do or have also, meant we had to get two. They each picked one out. Aubrey loves blue right now so of course she got a blue fish, and Evelyn chose a red one.

Once we got home we let Aubrey name them and she came up with names all by her self, which I am so proud of her for! She is becoming such a big girl which is so bitter sweet for me because she is no longer my baby, but a little girl that can carry on a conversation with me. Anyway, She immediately named one Flounder, though I misunderstood her and though she said Wednesday, which I thought was an interesting name. She had to think for a bit before she chose a name for the other one but she eventually picked Nemo. So now we have Flounder and Nemo, can you tell we love Disney movies :)

A Ladybug Party!!
